2. Files must be run through an ASP enabled web server

3. Setup the setting file named inc.asp.
Open it with text editor, Dbname should be changed to some longer and make it
difficult to guess. Change the database name under folder dbs accordantly.
You can change it from pentacle.10.03.original.mdb to mypentacle.mdb
You should know the time zone in which your server is. If the time zone is West 8,
or -8. Set the servertimezone = -8.

4. Install, update, or upgrade

4.1 For new installation
In your internet browser, enter http://www.yoursite.com/pt_load.asp
This is the program initializing process, key in the correct data, all fields mandatory.
After you see the Success, delete the pt_load.asp file.
4.2 For Upgrade from 7.05.0.xxxx
In your internet browser, enter http://www.yoursite.com/pt_upgrade.asp
After you see the Success, delete the pt_upgrade.asp file.
4.3 For previous version before 7.05.0.xxxx
You need to download 7.05 upgrade pack first and upgrade to 7.05 before doing the upgrade.

5. The main page is 'default.asp'

6. The user set in the program initialization is the most important administrator. It cannot
be deleted.

New features or features improved shown as below:

0) Three levels of user right, Admin, Manager, and Normal User.
1) Admin can correct the time or date which is in error in record.
1.5) Manager can doing sign in/out for other people.
2) When delete a User, it is not actually deleted, but disabled.
3) Vacation can be half day on carry forword.
4) Send email to others by locaion or group.
5) Internal Email facility to Admin, when add an event.
6) History Records clean.
7) Database compact.
8) Email regular express filter will accept new TLD email address.

If you use the In-Out Board in your intranet, not public access, you don't need to update it.
It is urgent to update to 6.03.0.1001 for all installation in the internet.

Please go to our download page to download the upgrade package. Decompress it and copy all files into your installation folder. Confirm to overwrite if request.

Run pt_upgrade.asp to complete the upgrade procedure. After upgrading, delete this pt_upgrade.asp file.

Note:
Before doing anything, make a backup of the original copy.

Enjoy the new version.

Download update pack and run the pt_update.asp

Keep your copy uptodate.
